chicago, here i come

hello world,

this morning, i dropped off V at daycare and headed to work for a couple hours. i’m leaving for chicago, il around noon for a 24 hour visit. this is a work trip and includes driving time- 6 hours each way.

this is one of the challenges of working and being a mommy at the same time. i just spent 4 days travelling with her and we had 2 days home together sick and we had a great weekend, but it doesn’t make it any easier to leave her overnight. i like putting her to bed. i like checking on her before i go to bed. and i love random silly time.
